Congratulations to this wonderful community.  On April 6th the Medical Center Foundation of Hartford hosted Denim Day Paint Night at Creative License in Hartford.  Many in the community came out to support the efforts to raise money for victims of sexual crimes.  Proceeds were collected for the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Nurses, who work with victims of sexual crime. Over $1100 were donated to help continued efforts of educating the SANE Nurses who support and work with victims. Modern Woodman of America offered to match funds up to $1000.  With the assistance of Ted Frey from Modern Woodman we did it! We are able to send 4 nurses to classes to keep their certification in the SANE Program. Together we continue to make a difference. Thank you to everyone who participated.  Together we raised $2,145.00 You painted beautifully!
