Every year the Medical Center Foundation puts together a ceremony for The Tree of Life Celebration.  This will be the 31st year we are celebrating and thanking the community for their help and their support for the Personal Emergency Lifeline.  Hundreds of community members count on us to help and to support them with assistance for the lifelines. Letters are sent out in early November requesting for donations. White Lights are $10, Red Lights are $25, and Blue Lights are $100. Without fail, the community picks up the challenge and comes through with gifts supporting friends, relatives, and neighbors needing lifelines.  It is truly amazing how generous and how giving the community is in supporting the elderly who can just push a button on a pendant and instantly be connected to someone who can help them. This program is a testimony of the love and the care people have in sharing their gifts and their support for people they have never met.  Please join us on Wednesday, December 6th at 5 PM at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford under the carport. (1032 E Sumner St. Hartford) The Honorary Tree Lighter is, Sue Lunger.  The musical guests are the Hartford High School Concert Choir.  We are very excited to share this event and to have you join us.  A holiday reception will follow in the Hospital Cafeteria.  See you Wednesday, December 6th at 5 PM.
