Fun at the Open House

Thank you to all who could make it to the Open House at the 1022 Club. So many people had an opportunity to say congratulations to the Medical Center Foundation of Hartford and to the Threshold for keeping the doors open to a much needed resource, the Adult Day Care 1022 Club. There was all kinds of food and much laughter with music and opportunity to share stories of the past which included the good old days when the only thing on the present property was dirt and grass. Today there is a 6,000 sq foot building filled with love and excitement that cares for those who have dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. So much to thank God for and so many people who are committed to keep things going in serving the community with a program that helps families caring for a loved one with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting this program. It truly was an Open House for all to enjoy and celebrate a community committed to serving others.
